We are seeking a Family/Parent Peer Support Specialist to provide peer support services throughout Miami, Darke and Shelby Counties, Ohio, as a member of the Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) Team. The Family/Parent Peer Support Specialist provides guidance, hope and support towards recovery through personal experience and growth on a reciprocal basis. Multiple shifts available for a flexible schedule.

Requirements
- Mentor and assist youth and families through mental health crises and restore calm within the family
- Assist in identifying resources, supports and services based on youth and family needs
- Work collaboratively with other members of the Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) Team to further support youth and families throughout the stabilization and transition phases
- Function as part of an interdisciplinary team and develop and maintain effective relationships with community professionals
- Certified Family/Parent Peer Support Specialist through the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services or willing to obtain this certification (we will assist!)
- Have lived experience as a parent or caregiver of a child who has been involved with behavioral healthcare services
- Have and maintain an excellent driving record
- Have high school diploma or equivalent
Salary : $25,000
