To qualify for the position, you will need:
- Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in State of Kansas
- A caring & loving personality and demeanor
- The ability to work your scheduled shift
- The ability to read, write & speak English
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Enhancing the vibrancy and quality of life of our residents
- Helping residents throughout the day with their activities of daily living (ADLs), which are: eating, dressing, transferring, walking, bathing, toileting & hygiene support
- Promptly responding to resident call lights
- Preparing residents for therapy sessions, activities and appointments
- Following infection control procedures
- Documenting and charting your care for each resident
- Protecting residents’ rights
- Adhering to our policies and standards
