Recore Electrical Contractors is seeking a Warehouse Associate responsible for receiving, organizing, and distributing electrical materials, tools, and equipment to support field operations. This role ensures inventory accuracy, maintains a safe and organized warehouse, and prepares materials for delivery to job sites. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments of electrical materials and supplies.
- Verify deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Organize, label, and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, stage, and prepare materials, tools, and equipment for job site deliveries.
- Load and unload company vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely (certification preferred).
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Identify damaged or missing materials and report discrepancies promptly.
- Assist with deliveries to job sites as needed.
- Track and maintain company tools and equipment.
- Follow company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse, construction, or electrical supply experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electrical materials and components is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and data entry.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the workday.
