The career opportunity for you:

The Commercial Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in commercial or public facilities such as office buildings, hotels, hospitals, schools, or retail spaces. This role ensures all areas are properly cleaned and well-presented to meet company standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean, sanitize, and maintain assigned areas including offices, restrooms, lobbies, hallways, meeting rooms, and common spaces.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and sweep floors; wipe down surfaces and remove trash regularly.
• Restock supplies such as paper products, soap, and cleaning materials.
• Clean and disinfect high-touch areas to maintain hygiene and safety.
• Operate cleaning equipment (e.g., floor scrubbers, vacuums, buffers) safely and effectively.
• Follow cleaning schedules, safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Ensure proper storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude toward clients, visitors, and coworkers.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping (preferred but not required).
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift (up to 30 lbs), and perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
• Commitment to safety and hygiene standards.

Work Environment:

• Indoor and outdoor settings depending on location.
• May require early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holiday shifts.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals (with proper protective equipment provided).
