The career opportunity for you:
Recore Electric is seeking a BIM Modeler to support the Recore Electrical engineering team.
The BIM Modeler is responsible for maintaining one or more project BIM models and the associated project BIM support documents, to ensure the quality levels satisfy specific project BIM requirements and the Recore Electrical BIM standards. Core responsibilities of the BIM Modeler role will span from initial project set-up, ensuring BIM models remain free from errors, to managing outputs and performing BIM coordination exercises.
The BIM Modeler provides technical support directly to project teams and reports directly to the BIM Manager, providing feedback on project teams' requirements for training, workflows or content.
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of and proven practical background in Autodesk Revit and related CAD software.
- Experience in model federation workflows using Navisworks.
- Solid understanding of core ANSI drafting standards.
- Familiarity with design practices relating to the electrical field.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Candidates must be able to clearly articulate advanced concepts in a way that team members at all levels can understand.
- Candidates should possess the ability to teach others to understand and use BIM concepts and tools.
- Degree in computer aided drafting or electrical engineering/technology preferred but not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to details is a must.
- The ideal candidate must be a team player that has passion for their work.
Experience:
- Candidates must possess at least 1 year of relevant experience with Autodesk Revit.
- Electrical experience is preferred but not required.
