What are the responsibilities and job description for the Document Processing Specialist position at Records Deposition Service?
We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Document Processing Specialist to handle records that have been requested by our attorney clients for use in litigation.
The Document Processing Specialist's primary role is the digital processing of records before they are sent to our clients. This includes confirming that the records are on the correct person, that all pages are legible, and organizing/formatting the final document using PDF editing software. Once complete, the Document Processing Specialist saves the final record in our system and ensures that it is made available to the appropriate client(s) in digital or paper form.
Secondary responsibilities include using online portals to download records and documents that we have requested. In addition, the candidate will be comfortable making calls to record custodians and facilities to check the status of outstanding requests for records and documenting those interactions in our database.
The ideal candidate will be positive and energetic with strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients.
