ReConserve of Washington, Tacoma has over 80 years of experience -- is the largest, most experienced recycler of bakery, cereal grain, snack foods, and related food by-products in the United States. We provide sanitary, efficient removal and recycling services to the food and feed manufacturing industries nationwide.
Utility employee works in all areas of the plant assisting with material unloading and recycling, housekeeping and clean up. Tools include hand tools, broom, shovel, pallet jack, fork truck, bobcat and sweeper. This is not a warehouse position. This is not a supervisor position. This is an entry-level position that could lead to another dock or plant job opportunity. On the job training will be provided.
Qualifications & Job Duties:
High school graduation and/or equivalent
Minimum 3 verifiable professional references
Successful employment background
Criminal background, physical, & drug test
*** Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7 am to 330 pm, occasional Saturday as needed;
*** Days off –Saturday & Sunday;
*** 5 days work, full time work schedule
Unload box loads from van trailers, roll-off boxes, scrape and clean boxes
Sort material for mixing and production
Recycle cardboard and wooden pallets
Remove foreign materials and trash from raw material
Housekeeping includes clean-up, sweeping and dust removal in plant production area and scale room, trash removal, painting and weed maintenance
Clean and maintain tools and equipment
Assist with maintenance and repairs as directed
Follow safety procedures
Additional duties as assigned
