This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Design Engineer role based in Columbia, SC. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing custom-engineered pressure vessels and heat exchange systems, utilizing various mechanical engineering principles. Tasks include conducting detailed calculations and analyses, creating CAD models, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing technical support for product design and development. The role also involves ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering concepts, including heat transfer and fluid dynamics.
- Experience with Product Design and the ability to develop innovative solutions.
- Expertise in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for creating detailed schematics and models.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of industry standards, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in the industrial equipment or manufacturing sector is a plus.
