Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various restoration processes, including water damage restoration, mold remediation, and fire restoration. This role involves working on-site to restore properties affected by disasters, ensuring that they are cleaned and restored to their original condition. The Restoration Technician will utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to perform tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of damaged properties to determine the extent of restoration needed.
• Perform water damage restoration, including extraction, drying, and dehumidification processes.
• Execute mold remediation procedures to ensure safe and effective removal of mold from affected areas.
• Carry out fire restoration tasks, including smoke and soot cleanup and odor removal.
• Utilize hand tools and equipment for carpet cleaning and other restoration tasks.
• Follow industry standards and safety guidelines during all restoration activities.
• Maintain a clean work environment by properly disposing of debris and hazardous materials.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding the restoration process and timelines.
• Document all work performed for quality assurance and client records.

Skills

• Proficiency in asbestos abatement techniques is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of the water, sewer, and fire restoration industry standards and practices.
• Experience in water damage restoration, mold remediation, fire restoration, and carpet cleaning.
• Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in restoring properties.
• Strong communication skills for effective client interaction.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure situations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
