Job Summary
The Community Coach plays a vital role in strengthening the community by supporting youth and families through engaging, supportive environments that foster confidence and social-emotional growth. This role offers a chance to develop mentorship and relationship-building skills while guiding participants through meaningful learning experiences that promote personal growth and community connection.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and support weekly program sessions for families
- Lead and assist with activities incorporating literacy, storytelling, and creative arts
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and structured environment for all participants
- Build and maintain positive relationships with youth and their families
- Provide informal coaching and support aligned with social-emotional development

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1–3 years of experience in community work, education, social services, or a related field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) certification
- Background in art, education, wellness, or community programming
- Experience working with underserved or diverse populations
- Group facilitation or workshop experience
