This is a full-time on-site role for a qualified Family Law Attorney located in Charlotte, NC. As a Family Law Attorney, you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, drafting legal documents, representing clients during court proceedings, and providing counsel on legal matters related to family law. You will conduct legal research, prepare and participate in trials and hearings, and work directly with clients to navigate complex family law issues. Collaboration with our team to develop legal strategies and achieve positive outcomes for clients will also be a critical part of the role.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in family law areas, including divorce, child custody, child support, equitable distribution, alimony, and related legal matters.
- Strong litigation and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively represent clients in court and manage dispute resolution.
- Competence in legal research, drafting legal documents, and preparing case strategies.
- Strong client communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide empathetic, clear, and professional counsel.
- Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law in North Carolina.
- Previous experience in a family law practice is preferred.
