Micro Welding Operator:
Responsibilities:
- Use proper techniques for handling small parts and monitor tooling wear to maintain equipment quality standards.
- Perform basic setup for various welding configurations, such as seams, endcaps, flanges, rings, and tacking.
- Setup and tear down equipment according to safety guidelines and operational requirements.
- Perform designated operations as per drawing/ work order requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including part numbers, quantities, methods used, and any issues encountered.
- Communicate with supervisor, quality control personnel, and other team members to address workflow issues, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area to ensure efficiency and safety.

Location: Wayland, MI – Manufacturing Facility
Category: Non-exempt employee, full time
Shift: First (7:00 am – 3:30 pm)
Qualified candidates will possess the following minimum requirements:
- Due to ITAR requirements, we can only consider American Citizens for this position.
- Must have at least 20/20 vision – with vision correction aides (i.e. glasses, contacts)
- Must be able to remain seated for extended periods
- Must be able to operate shop resources with arms and hands
- Must be able to pass a 5-panel drug screen that includes marijuana
- Attention to detail is a must, along with the ability to ignore distractions while working
