At Rec Haus, our Guest Experience Pros are the face of the Haus. This position may be viewed as a Host or Hostess, but it's much more than that role at Rec Haus. You are often the first person guests meet and the last person they see before leaving. Your mission is simple: create memorable experiences, deliver exceptional hospitality, and ensure every guest feels welcomed, valued, and excited to return. This role combines hospitality, customer service, sales, and entertainment in a fast-paced social environment. Guest Experience Pros help guests navigate everything Rec Haus has to offer—from arcade games and activities to food, beverages, parties, and special events.
Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Service & Hospitality
- Welcome every guest with enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
- Provide information about attractions, arcade games, events, promotions, food, and beverages.
- Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally.
- Ensure every guest receives an outstanding experience from arrival to departure.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front desk and guest areas.
Front Desk Operations
- Process guest transactions accurately using POS systems.
- Handle credit card, and digital payments.
- Answer phone calls, and guest inquiries.
- Assist with party check-ins and event coordination.
- Maintain accurate records and daily reports as assigned.
Entertainment Ambassador
- Create excitement around arcade games, activities, tournaments, and events.
- Engage with guests throughout the venue.
- Encourage participation in promotions and special activities.
- Help create a fun, energetic, and welcoming atmosphere.
Teamwork
- Communicate effectively with managers and teammates.
- Assist other departments when needed.
- Support operational goals and venue cleanliness standards.
- Contribute ideas that improve the guest experience.
Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
- Passion for hospitality, entertainment, and guest service.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable handling transactions and operating POS systems.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
- Previous customer service, hospitality, restaurant, entertainment, or retail experience preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a lively entertainment environment with music and guest activity.
