Position Description: The Office Manager will work directly with staff and board members to meet the administrative needs of Rebuilding Together DC Alexandria. The Office Manager plays a significant role in ensuring that the day-to-day operations of the organization run smoothly. The PT position reports to the CEO.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
· Answer office phones and transfer calls as appropriate.
· Manage and distribute mail.
· Order and maintain office supplies.
· Coordinate maintenance for office space and work with tech consultant on computers/phones.
· Assist staff with general information, clients, volunteers and donors.
· Enter information into Salesforce database as needed.
· Manage all calendar invites for Board of Director/Staff meetings/Trainings.
· Assist the accountant with receipts and employee timesheets/PTO reports.
· Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Required
· Two to three years of progressively responsible directly related work experience.
· Excellent organizational, interpersonal and networking skills with diverse groups and individuals.
· Demonstrated ability to take primary responsibility for diverse numbers of projects and complete them in a timely manner with limited supervision.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Positive attitude required.
· Self-starter who is results oriented.
· Team players with ability to work collaboratively and build effective working relationships with staff, Board, volunteers, donors.
Salary : $20 - $25
