Lead Restoration Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Restoration Technician to spearhead our restoration projects and deliver exceptional service to our clients. In this vital role, you will oversee the hands-on restoration process, coordinate team efforts, and ensure all work adheres to safety protocols and industry standards. Your leadership will drive efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction during emergency response and ongoing restoration efforts. Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate restoration projects involving water damage, fire damage, flood recovery, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and other disaster responses.
• Perform hands-on restoration work using hand tools, power tools, carpet cleaning equipment, and specialized remediation techniques.
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and respiratory protection to maintain safety standards on all job sites.
• Operate company vehicles responsibly for on-site travel and project transportation while adhering to safety protocols.
• Conduct detailed assessments of damage using industry-standard estimating software such as Xactimate; prepare accurate reports for clients and insurance claims.
• Manage emergency response readiness by maintaining a swift response approach for urgent situations requiring immediate action.
• Train and supervise crew members in safety procedures, proper equipment use, cleaning techniques, and industry best practices.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, team members, and management throughout project timelines to ensure expectations are met or exceeded.

Skills

• Extensive experience in the restoration industry with a strong understanding of water damage restoration, fire restoration, flood recovery, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and general cleanup processes.
• Proven ability to operate hand tools, power tools, carpet cleaning machines, and other specialized equipment efficiently.
• Knowledge of safety protocols including PPE use, respiratory protection, hazard recognition, and adherence to OSHA standards.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients during stressful situations.
• Construction experience is highly desirable for structural repairs or modifications during restoration projects.
• Ability to respond promptly in emergency situations with on-call coverage as needed.
• Familiarity with Xactimate or similar estimating software for accurate project costing.
• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.

Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
