Rebound Medical is a Durable Medical Equipment (DME) organization specializing in prescription-only pneumatic compression devices designed for orthopedic post-surgical recovery and the management of chronic conditions, including lymphedema and venous insufficiency. We partner closely with surgeons, orthopedic groups, physical therapy centers, and workers’ compensation stakeholders to ensure optimal patient outcomes and streamlined claims processes.
We are seeking an experienced Independent Sales Contractor to manage our current providers and expand our presence in Eastern Pennsylvania, with a strong emphasis on workers’ compensation networks, adjusters, nurse case managers, and orthopedic providers.
Role Overview
As an Independent Sales Contractor, you will represent Rebound Medical across a defined territory to drive referral growth, manage workers’ compensation cases, and support physicians and claims partners with high-quality post-surgical and chronic care solutions. This role is ideal for a motivated DME or medical sales professional who thrives in a contractor-based structure with high earning potential.
Responsibilities
- Utilize, develop and expand relationships with Orthopedic surgeons, physician practices, ASC teams, and physical therapy providers, and Workers’ compensation adjusters, case managers, TPAs, and employer networks.
- Educate clinical and claims stakeholders on Pneumatic compression therapy for post-surgical recovery , devices for lymphedema and chronic edema management, and coverage, documentation, and authorization requirements.
- Support claims navigation to ensure timely authorization for workers’ comp devices.
- Maintain accurate activity records, reporting, and pipeline updates.
- Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure seamless service, prompt billing and patient satisfaction.
- Represent Rebound Medical professionally at onsite visits, educational in-services, and industry events.
Qualifications
- 3 years of medical sales experience, preferably in DME, orthopedic recovery products, or rehabilitation.
- Strong knowledge of workers’ compensation processes, including authorizations, documentation, and claims flow.
- Established relationships with orthopedic groups, PT practices, or WC networks in Eastern Pennsylvania preferred.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing a territory independently.
- Ability to explain clinical and coverage criteria clearly to both medical and non-medical stakeholders.
- Contractor mindset with the discipline to drive consistent referral volume.
