Position Overview

The Social Media Manager is responsible for the strategy, storytelling, content writing and day-to-day execution of social media across ReBirth’s client portfolio. This is more than a content role, but a role that requires the ability to find and shape the story inside complex organizations, including municipalities, nonprofits, and civic and corporate clients, and translate it into content that connects with the right audience at the right time. The ideal candidate understands the art of storytelling, and must possess excellent written skills.

Primary Responsibilities

Strategy & Storytelling

• Find, shape, and tell the story behind each client brand, municipality, or organization in a way that resonates with their desired audience
• Develop social media strategy for each client account, grounded in client goals and objectives
• Stay connected to the community, current events, and political landscape to keep client content timely, relevant, and credible
• Understand tactical elements to amplify social media content across all social platforms
• Clear understanding of social media ad buying and targeting

Content & Account Growth

• Excellent writing skills
• Write descriptive, creative, and technically sound content for B2B clients across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube, and TikTok
• Develop and execute strategies specifically aimed at growing client social accounts followers, engagement, and reach
• Design social media graphics and visual assets using Canva, Adobe, or similar tools
• Maintain content calendars and scheduling across multiple clients using tools such as Hootsuite and Meta Business Manager
• Monitor client accounts for comments, messages, and emerging developments, responding or escalating as needed

Analytics & Reporting

• Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics across platforms, using data to inform and adjust strategy
• Translate analytics into clear takeaways and recommendations for clients and internal leadership

Professional Approach

• Operate as a quick learner who can get up to speed on a new client, industry, or platform with minimal ramp-up time
• Work independently as a self-starter while staying aligned with broader account and agency strategy
• Stay current on social media trends, platform changes, and emerging best practices
• Maintain strong organization across multiple clients and competing deadlines
• Represent ReBirth’s brand and values in every client interaction

Required Skills and Qualifications

• At least three years of experience developing and executing social media strategy and campaigns
• Strong writer with experience in technical and brand storytelling for B2B clients
• Working understanding of social media analytics and how to apply insights to strategy
• Solid understanding of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube, TikTok, and Meta Business Manager
• Proficiency designing graphics in Canva, Adobe, or similar platforms
• Comfort working with B2B clients, particularly municipal, nonprofit, civic, or corporate organizations
• Strong interpersonal skills and comfort communicating directly with executives and community leaders
• Experience working with clients in fields such as legal, professional, or political environments preferred
