Experienced Material Handler / Equipment Operator
Wahoo, NE | $28–$30 per hour | Monday–Thursday
Rebellion Fabrication builds structural and architectural steel for commercial and industrial projects. We’re looking for an experienced Material Handler who knows how to move heavy materials safely, keep inventory organized, and get the shop what it needs to stay on schedule.
You’ll receive deliveries, verify materials, and stage steel for our Processing team. We need someone who pays attention, spots discrepancies, and follows through without needing reminders.
What you’ll do
- Receive and check deliveries. Compare incoming materials to purchase orders, verify quantities, and report damage or discrepancies.
- Keep inventory accurate. Make sure materials are identified, recorded, and stored where the team can find them.
- Keep production moving. Pull and stage materials according to the schedule so equipment operators have what they need.
- Move steel safely. Load, unload, and transport materials without damaging equipment, products, or the people working around you.
- Keep your area organized. Maintain clear travel paths and orderly storage areas.
- Take care of equipment. Complete required checks, report problems, and follow equipment maintenance and safety procedures.
- Communicate with the crew. Speak up when material is missing, a delivery is incorrect, or something could hold up production.
Equipment operation
Operating equipment is a regular part of this job. You’ll use forklifts, telehandlers, overhead cranes, and a skid steer to move and position materials throughout the shop and yard.
We’re looking for someone with hands-on experience who understands load limits, safe material handling, and working around other people and equipment. You’ll complete our required training and authorization before operating equipment independently.
What we’re looking for
- At least one year of material handling experience, preferably in steel fabrication, manufacturing, or a similar environment.
- Experience operating material handling equipment and moving heavy or oversized loads.
- The ability to check material types, quantities, and paperwork accurately.
- Strong organization and the ability to prioritize work as shop needs change.
- Someone who takes responsibility for their work, helps the team, and addresses problems when they see them.
We’ll teach you our receiving process, inventory system, and shop procedures. You should bring solid material handling experience and safe equipment operating habits.

- Accurate inventory.
- Incoming materials match purchase orders, with discrepancies caught and reported.
- Materials are staged correctly and ready when Processing needs them.
- Equipment and work areas are maintained and used safely.

Pay, schedule, and benefits
- Pay: $28–$30 per hour, depending on experience.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Four 10-hour shifts, Monday–Thursday.
- Location: In person in Wahoo, Nebraska.
