Cannabis Trimmer

Key Responsibilities

• Trimming: Carefully remove excess leaves, stems, and unwanted plant material from buds, either by hand using trimming scissors or with automated machinery.
• Quality Control & Sorting: Ensure the product meets company quality standards, and sort trimmed products (e.g., A buds, B buds, shake) into designated bins.
• Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and organized workspace and sanitize tools and equipment daily to comply with hygiene and safety protocols.
• Compliance: Adhere to all state and local regulations for the cannabis industry

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Manual Dexterity and Attention to Detail: Essential for meticulous trimming and maintaining product quality.
• Reliability: Punctuality and a dependable nature are highly valued by employers.
• Legal Requirements: Must be at least 21 years old and pass any required background checks. A specific cannabis handler's card or agent badge may be required depending on state/local regulations (Alaska Marijuana Handlers Card).

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
