Marketing & Sales Manager
Hilton Capitol Hill is looking for a Marketing & Sales Manager to take the lead in promoting our hotel and growing our catering and group business. In this role, you'll develop and execute marketing initiatives while driving revenue through events such as weddings, reunions, religious ceremonies, and other catered functions. Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and oversee marketing strategies that engage target audiences and promote the hotel's catering and event offerings.
Drive catering sales by identifying, prospecting, and closing group business, including weddings, reunions, religious ceremonies, and other catered events.
Lead the creation of compelling marketing content-including digital campaigns, visuals, and messaging-to support catering and event revenue growth.
Manage marketing channels to ensure consistent brand messaging and maximize exposure for catering services.
Collaborate with hotel associates across departments to highlight property features, F&B promotions, event spaces, and amenities.
Track and analyze marketing and catering sales performance, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize revenue.
Maintain relationships with local partners, vendors, and venues to support event planning and create packages that attract guests.
Qualifications
Proven experience in marketing management and catering or group sales (1'3 years preferred).
Demonstrated success generating revenue through weddings, reunions, religious ceremonies, or other catered events.
Expertise in marketing channels, content creation, and campaign management.
Knowledge of SEO, keyword research, web traffic analytics, and marketing KPIs.
Ability to develop creative marketing content (text, image, and video) tailored to target audiences.
Strong understanding of buyer personas, event planning, and promotional strategies.
Familiarity with web page design, publishing, and analytics tools.
Exceptional communication, multitasking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
