We are seeking an Engineering Manager who is hands-on, people-focused, and passionate about maintaining a hotel that operates at the highest standards. This role is ideal for a leader who takes ownership, develops their team, and thrives in a fast-paced hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage the Engineering & Maintenance team
Oversee all building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety
Implement and manage preventative maintenance programs
Respond to maintenance issues and emergencies promptly and effectively
Ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards, safety regulations, and local/state codes
Manage work orders, vendor relationships, and service contracts
Support inspections, audits, renovations, and capital projects
Control departmental budget, purchasing, inventory, and energy-efficiency initiatives
Partner with Rooms, F&B, and Hotel Leadership to support a seamless guest experience
Qualifications
3 years of hotel engineering or facilities leadership experience
Marriott Or Branded Hotel Experience Strongly Preferred
Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems
Proven leadership ability with a hands-on, solutions-driven approach
Strong communication and organizational skills
Flexible schedule, including availability for emergencies as needed
