Role Description The Sign Installer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Baton Rouge, LA. This role involves installing interior and exterior signs, including wall-mounted signs, window graphics, vehicle graphics, banners, and other custom signage. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting work orders and layouts, preparing installation surfaces, safely operating hand and power tools, and ensuring accurate placement and secure mounting of signs. The Sign Installer will also load and unload materials, travel to job sites, follow safety procedures, interact professionally with customers, and work closely with the production and design teams to resolve installation issues and complete projects on schedule.
Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret layouts, diagrams, and installation instructions; strong attention to detail and basic math skills for measurements and alignment.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools, hardware, and mounting systems; ability to safely use ladders, lifts, and other equipment required for sign installation.
- Comfort working outdoors and indoors in various weather conditions; ability to lift, carry, and position signs and materials, often at heights.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and complete installations according to schedule.
- Professional communication skills for interacting with clients and team members; ability to represent the company positively at job sites.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation for travel to installation locations.
- Prior experience in sign installation, construction, carpentry, or a related field is beneficial but not always required; willingness to learn and follow established processes.
