We are seeking a motivated, highly skilled Associate Personal Injury Attorney to join our dynamic team. This position will involve both pre-litigation and litigation responsibilities, offering an exciting and challenging opportunity to grow and advance in your legal career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-Litigation: Manage client intake, conduct investigations, gather and review evidence, negotiate with insurance companies, and prepare demand packages to secure settlements.
- Litigation: Represent clients in court, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and trial preparation. Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations.
- Handle a diverse caseload involving car accidents, slip and fall incidents, workplace injuries, and other personal injury matters.
- Communicate with clients regularly to provide updates, explain legal options, and answer questions.
- Work closely with senior attorneys to strategize and execute case plans.
- Maintain a high level of client care and professional ethics throughout the process.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Georgia.
- 2-4 years of experience in personal injury law, with a strong background in both pre-litigation and litigation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong negotiation, legal research, and drafting skills.
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
