Field Retail Account Manager

This job is for someone who has run a store, led a district, or worked inside Home Depot or Lowe's for a vendor, and wants to be out in stores every day instead of behind a register or a desk. You own a territory of about 20 Home Depot and Lowe's stores across the Nashville metro, and your job is to bring Re-Bath bathroom remodel customers out of those stores.

This is an hourly job. It is not commission only, and it is not door to door.

Requirements

- 2 or more years in store, assistant store or district management at a big-box or chain retailer, vendor or merchandising work inside big-box stores, or route or territory sales

- You have trained or coached people, including people who did not report to you

- You are comfortable starting conversations with shoppers you have never met

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

- Live within commuting distance of the Nashville metro

- This is a full-time role and should be your main job

- Weekend availability is required

- Able to lift up to 30 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation

- Able to pass a background check and drug screen

The week

- You visit two or three of your stores a day

- At each store you check in with the managers and the associates on the floor

- You show associates what a good Re-Bath customer looks like and how to hand that customer off

- You spend a good part of each visit in the aisle, talking with shoppers who are looking at bath and shower products

- You keep the display and brochures ready

- Some weeks you run a store appreciation event or a weekend promotion

- You track what each store produces and report it to leadership

- You are home every night

Am I selling or managing? Some of both. You coach each store's associates to spot and hand off remodel customers, and you start those conversations with shoppers yourself. The associates work for the store, not for you, so you win by earning their trust.

Pay

$21 to $24 per hour, plus a quarterly performance bonus.

Schedule

Full time and field based. Weekend availability is required, with flexibility built into your weekday schedule. Travel stays inside your territory.
