Rebar Machine Service is a family-owned OEM company. We have been in business for over 35 years! We are a manufacturing company committed to quality craftsmanship and innovation. We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our manufacturing team.
Responsibilities:
- Operate manual lathes, mills and related shop equipment to produce precision metal parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Set up and adjust tooling, speeds, and feeds for optimal performance.
- Verify dimensions and tolerances using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to meet production and quality goals.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating manual lathes and mills (Bridgeport or similar experience a plus).
- Strong understanding of machining practices, materials, and measuring tools.
- Ability to hold tight tolerances and produce high-quality work.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
- Basic math and blueprint-reading skills required.
