SOCIAL CONTENT DESIGN INTERN

Internship Description

Location:                           Boulder, Colorado

Reports to:                        Steve Moon – Creative Director

Position Classification:       Paid Internship - $20/hour

Position Type:                   Temporary PT – no more than 25 hours per week

If so, come intern at Rebalance Health! We are looking for a social content design intern to be involved with supportive tasks and projects producing visually appealing and impactful designs for a wide range of projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design on-brand creative for all digital platforms, including digital ads, performance creative, social media, website, and more.
• Create digital assets (static, video) for a range of platforms (social, display advertising, eCommerce, etc.).
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver best-in-class designs that are creative, useful and align with technical and brand standards.
• Maintain working knowledge on social/digital media and adapt to the changing landscape of web platforms.
• Quickly translate creative concepts into visual design
• Fine-tune creative versions for digital testing.
• Ability to be resourceful; create new and exciting content with existing or creation of imagery and assets.
• Participate in Creative briefings and design discussions to understand and plan deliverables.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure alignment with digital and content marketing strategy.
• Ensure consistency in designs and content across all digital platforms.
• Leverage a digital and mobile-first mindset in design.
• Maintain a positive work climate and an environment based on trust, diversity, and inclusion within the team.
• Ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate is a student enrolled in a college or university seeking real world work experience.  

·       High school diploma

·       Attention to detail

·       Preferred - Experience in design and video editing platforms (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc)

·       Initiative, curiosity and a willingness to learn!

LOCATION: Onsite preferred but remote available for out of state applicants - The corporate office is located in the Flatiron Business Park in Boulder, CO. This internship would be onsite.

ORIENTATION/TRAINING: 1 week onboarding orientation & training agenda including information about and review with the Creative Director on the following:

·       Who & What Rebalance is

·       Company strategy

·       Brand elements & guidelines

INSTRUCTION/SUPERVISION: This intern position reports directly to and works hand in hand with the Creative Director daily/weekly/monthly.

EVALUATION: The Creative Director will be the evaluator for this intern position and evaluations will be conducted on a monthly basis.

EQUIPMENT/TECHNOLOGY/MATERIALS: Company will provide laptop for intern to use during the length of this internship. Laptop will be considered company property and must be returned at the completion of this internship.
