Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a friendly and energetic attitude upon arrival, establishing a welcoming environment.
- Assist guests with check-in procedures, providing directions or information as needed.
- Manage guest flow by directing visitors to appropriate areas or staff members efficiently.
- Answer guest inquiries via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth guest transitions and resolve any concerns promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized greeting area, ensuring all signage and materials are up-to-date.
- Support the hospitality team by assisting with guest relations and providing exceptional service throughout their visit.
Experience
- Previous host/hostess experience or background in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Experience using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Familiarity with hotel or guest services environments enhances your ability to excel in this role.
- Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills are essential for creating positive interactions.
- Prior experience in hospitality, serving, or customer-facing roles will help you thrive here.
