Job Summary
This position’s responsibility is to maintain current business and keep our customers satisfied. As the new Sales Rep/Trader gets new business, Customer Service Rep is responsible for setting up the new customer in the system, and providing Customer Service with the new client. This position allocates a significant amount of its time to collecting information about and establishing a relationship with new and existing customers.
Basic Job functions:.
- Improving loads (proper segregation, equipment, efficiency)
- Analyze to provide cost savings wherever possible.
- Proper utilization of Outlook CRM software
- All contact information, price requests and Customer profiles to be completed through the CRM software.
- Call on prospective customers in order to generate leads.
- Make appointments for Sales Reps.
- Establish strong professional relationship with each account.
- Understand and follow all ISO procedures as they apply to the job.
- Any other duties as delegated by management.
- Determination of Customer Requirements.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Expert knowledge of the metals recycling industry, metallurgy and metals manufacturing methods.
- Expert knowledge of metals trading markets and related financial considerations for entering into long term contracts.
- Knowledge of ISO requirements.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
- A BS degree in metallurgy, metallurgical engineering, chemistry or related degree or equivalent experience
- One (1) to three (3) years minimum in the metals recycling industry as a sales or Customer representative, trader or support position.
