Resident Relations Specialist
Classification: Full-Time, Non-Exempt, Hourly
ROSS Companies is looking to identify an experienced and qualified Resident Relations Specialist to create a positive impression with residents addressing any needs/concerns in professional and diligent manner ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents either by phone or in person in a professional manner.
- Resolves resident issues utilizing creative problem-solving skills to ensure resident satisfaction, involving the Property Manager as needed.
- Communicates daily with the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Property Manager to ensure maintenance requests are processed in a timely fashion.
- Document maintenance requests made by residents, assigning to the maintenance staff, as requested by Maintenance Supervisor and/or Property Manager.
- Assist with Yardi entries, which may include entering rent payments, entering maintenance tickets, and/or completing reports.
- Promote Fair Housing standards and Equal Housing Opportunity requirements.
- Issue resident keys to contractors and maintain key log.
- Coordinate extermination requests, send out date of treatment letters and manage extermination log.
- Make follow-up calls or send e-mails to residents to ensure quality control and resident satisfaction.
- At direction of Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager, contact and engage contractors for in-unit work for occupied and turnover units.
- Provide assistance with resident functions.
- Open, stamp, and distribute mail and faxes, as requested.
- Immediately notify maintenance of an emergency situation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience/Skills
HS Diploma with some college level courses. College degree, preferred.
This position requires demonstrated skills in the areas of customer service, telephone etiquette, and personal contact with the public; 6 months-1 year of customer service background; Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate with people and maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and demeanor; Detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem solving skills; Excellent organizational, time management, and follow-through skills with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines while working in a fast-paced environment; Proficiency in computer programs, MS Word, Excel, and property management software. Previous multi-family and/ or condominium experience, preferred.
Salary : $20 - $23
