Realty Data Systems LLC – Lincroft, NJ
RDS is a technology, real estate inspection and appraisal firm headquartered in Lincroft, NJ. We have completed over 1 million property inspection visits for municipal government reassessments and revaluations. The firm also performs complex property valuation and data analysis for government clients.
Inspectors work primarily in the field inspecting real estate on behalf of our clients, in addition to performing “virtual” video inspections at times from the office. The majority of an inspector’s day is spent visiting properties as part of a town-specific team, which entails walking and being outdoors throughout the year and in various weather conditions.
Applicants should be comfortable with technology since inspectors utilize our electronic tablet system for collecting data. While experience in real estate and/or construction is helpful, it is not required given our training program.
Attention to detail and the ability to effectively communicate with property owners are key attributes for team members, as are problem-solving skills while working in the field. Applicants must have their own vehicles and should ideally reside in Monmouth, Middlesex or Somerset counties.
Starting base salary $33,000 (some flexibility, based on experience) with weekly bonuses, three weeks paid vacation and gas allowance.
