Job Title: Temporary Multi-Site Administrative Assistant
Reports To: Lead Maintenance Property Manager
RCMI Property: Timbers IV, Timber Creek, Village at the Timbers
Duration of Work: May to August
GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
The Multi-Site Administrative Assistant is responsible for preparing vacant apartments to market ready conditions by performing thorough inspections along with being responsible for the move-in inspection reports.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect vacated apartments and complete checklists in regard to make-ready.
- Check faucets, under sinks for potential leaks, and sink plugs. Perform checks of appliances, flooring, smoke alarms, cabinets, HVAC systems, all blinds, windows/screens, and doors.
- Wipe down all surfaces, mirrors and /or glass if needed.
- Replace or repair windows, latches, screens, hinges, sliding glass doors, shelves, baseboards, mirrors, closets, curtains, mini-blinds, ceiling fans, lights, etc.
- Ensure each unit has proper photos and checklist completed before move-in.
- Responsible for move out photos and inspections as well as Post Maintenance completion reports.
- Maintain grounds and common areas including picking up trash, sweeping sidewalks and driveways, snow removal etc.
- Make new keys when requested. Replace vacancy lock (if applicable) on day lock is changed for new resident move-in. Make sure all keys work to the apartment and/or storage closets.
- Be able to work as a team and independently and help others both at the site and other sites and be flexible in transferring to other local sites if required.
- Report all potential issues to manager and/or maintenance supervisor before new resident(s) move in.
- Strong customer service
- Maintain professional appearance at all times
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver’s license along with good driving record is required.
