Occasional travel to company headquarters in Philadelphia is required.

About the Opportunity
We are representing a high-growth, enterprise-grade payments technology provider seeking a seasoned Business Development Executive This role focuses on selling complex, large-scale payment and commerce solutions to multi-location businesses with significant operational and technical requirements.
Typical client environments include organizations processing tens of millions to over a billion transactions annually, often spanning multiple regions, systems, and integration partners. Sales cycles are consultative, highly strategic, and involve senior stakeholders, formal procurement processes, and rigorous compliance considerations.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end sales process, from pipeline generation through to contract execution
- Develop new business opportunities through both direct outreach and partner collaboration
- Sell integrated payments and commerce solutions into mid-market and enterprise organizations
- Lead complex sales engagements involving cross-functional stakeholders, including technology, finance, operations, and executive leadership
- Partner with ISVs, acquirers, financial institutions, and channel partners to drive joint sales efforts
- Manage formal RFP processes, develop tailored proposals, and articulate clear ROI for clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships across partner ecosystems and customer accounts
- Collaborate internally with product, engineering, and delivery teams to support solution alignment
- Drive account growth through upselling and long-term relationship management
- Track pipeline activity and maintain accurate forecasting
Requirements
- 7–10 years of experience in B2B sales within software, payments, or financial technology
- Proven track record selling into complex, multi-site organizations with multiple decision-makers
- Experience working both direct deals and partner-led opportunities
- Demonstrated success in building pipeline through self-generated efforts
- Strong experience managing consultative sales cycles, including RFPs and technical evaluations
- Existing relationships within enterprise merchants are advantageous
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to translate business and technical needs into compelling commercial proposals
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Familiarity with eCommerce and digital payments ecosystems preferred
