Solution Architect

Job Title: Solution Architect – Solution Architect / Microservices / AWS
Location: Las Vegas, NV, USA (Fully On-Site from Day 1)
Duration: 12 Months
Experience Required: 8 Years

Role Summary:
Experienced Solution Architect responsible for creating end-to-end solution architecture, API and microservice designs, decomposing systems into domains, defining agile delivery roadmaps, and leading implementation teams. The role requires strong expertise in AWS, Java-based architecture, containerization, and agile software delivery.

Essential Skills and Technical Expertise:

• Solution architecture and high-level design documentation

• Solution decomposition into business and technical domains

• API design and microservice architecture

• REST-based microservice API development

• Strong proficiency in Java and frameworks such as Spring and Spring Boot

• SQL and NoSQL database experience (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, and similar DBMS)

• Containerization and orchestration platforms (OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes)

• AWS services and cloud-native architecture

• Understanding of DevOps processes and CI/CD tools

• Knowledge of software design principles and major architecture patterns

• Experience with AGILE and Lean delivery methodologies

• Ability to translate open-ended and ambiguous business requirements into structured technical solutions and implementation roadmaps

Primary Responsibilities:

• Build and drive the technology vision and strategy for assigned solutions or business domains

• Conduct holistic solution analysis, design, planning, and implementation

• Act as the single point of contact between IT and business stakeholders

• Define and design APIs and microservice solutions for business capabilities

• Create Epics, user stories, and architecture guidance for development teams

• Lead and manage solution implementation teams and ensure architectural alignment

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and other Architects to shape and align product roadmaps

• Present complex technical proposals to technical and non-technical audiences

• Perform Proof of Concepts (POCs) when required to evaluate technologies and approaches

• Provide technical leadership during implementation by converting business requirements into clear architectural and development guidance

• Promote re-use of solutions through inner sourcing and shared architecture practices

• Stay aligned with industry technology trends and drive cloud and microservices adoption across the organization

• Ensure successful delivery outcomes by working closely with global teams across multiple concurrent projects

Qualification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering, or a related field

• 6–8 years of solution architecture experience covering architecture design, API design, domain decomposition, and implementation team leadership

• 8 years of overall IT experience with deep hands-on solution design and delivery
