RealREPP, a national full-service recruiting firm, is partnering with a well-established drywall subcontractor with a nationwide presence to assist in hiring an experienced Director of Operations!
The ideal candidate will be coming from either a drywall subcontractor or self-perform drywall division and come from a leadership position.

- Must be located near an airport in the Southeast region** - Nashville, Charlotte, Charleston, Jackson, etc.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee contract values, budgeted/projected cost, change orders, billing & collections
- Strategic planning to ensure project profitability communication with Finance & Executive Team to discuss financial implications, needs & manage cash flow to be positioned for success
- Direct oversight of project profitability
- Serve as a liaison for operational functions (SLT/ELT/Accounting/HR/BD/Estimating)
- Coach, mentor & hold operational teams accountable to established metrics
- Participation in pre-bid strategy reviews and project award interviews
- Lead preplanning and coordination of awarded projects
- Benchmark, measure & improve key performance metrics within company operations related to project performance and profitability relevant to project planning, project management and field construction
- Maintains strong knowledge of projects and exceeds set standards for their portfolio
- Oversee projects as they are being carried out to make sure that the work is done according to contract documents
- Manage resource assignments and work allocation to meet execution goals
- Conduct regular project status meetings with the pertinent teams
- Oversee relationships with key operations vendors
- Champion and collaborate with technology services partners and internal departments to ensure Berg is competitively positioned within the industry
- Participate in recruitment, hiring & onboarding new hires as appropriate
- Identify project risks and recommend appropriate resolutions or appropriate risk management strategy
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Engineering (preferred)
- 8 years commercial drywall experience (project management or field)
- 5 years leadership experience (Director or Senior Manager)
- Experience with drywall, metal stud framing, IMP, etc.
- Experience on mission-critical projects (highly preferred)
- Experience on large-scale projects (required)
- Must be willing to travel weekly
- Base Salary $190-215k (based on experience)

Salary : $190,000 - $215,000
