Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Accountant based in Burlington, MA, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Accountant will be responsible for financial record maintenance, preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role also includes budgeting, forecasting, processing payroll, and collaborating with other departments for financial data accuracy and process improvement.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance with regulations.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Strong skills in using accounting software and systems, such as QuickBooks or similar platforms.
- Ability to create and manage budgets, as well as expertise in financial forecasting and analysis.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification or equivalent qualification is a plus.
- Experience in the construction or real estate industry is preferred.
