Role Summary

The Golf Course Maintenance Technician will assist with the golf operations and services, including golf course maintenance, day-to-day operation of the Golf Courses, Golf Course Maintenance Department, Pro Shop, Driving Range, etc.

Responsibilities

• Assists in responding to golf course maintenance requests and homeowner concerns and problems.
• Inspect and repair vehicles and machinery. 
• Ensures that the golf course facilities and associated facilities are maintained in accordance with acceptable maintenance standards.
• Safely operate golf carts and tool vehicles
• Takes appropriate action to ensure that unsafe practices or conditions are corrected.
• Other duties as assigned.

• 2 years of maintenance experience preferred.

• Experience with Golf Course Maintenance and Mechanics required

•  Must be able to speak, read, and write English. Bilingual is a plus.

•  Must be a proficient problem-solver.

•  Must know how to use tools, supplies, materials, chemicals in a manner that does not endanger self, other employees, residents, the environment, or the public in general.

•  Experience and skills with simple electric maintenance are a plus, but not necessary.

• Must have a valid Driver's License with a clean driving history

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.

• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or reach frequently.

• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally heavier with assistance.

• Manual dexterity to operate tools, equipment, and machinery safely.

• Visual acuity to inspect equipment, read gauges, and perform detailed tasks.

• Hearing ability to detect alarms, equipment sounds, and verbal instructions in noisy environments.

• Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (heat, cold, dust, noise, outdoors).

• Ability to wear and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Ability to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, on-call, and overtime as required.

Pay and Benefits

$31.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on education and experience.
