The Payment Processor is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of incoming payments, including lockbox and non-lockbox receipts, bank deposits, and reconciliation activities. This role serves as a key point of contact for payment-related troubleshooting and works cross-functionally with internal departments and clients to ensure smooth billing and payment operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve payment posting issues in a timely and accurate manner
- Record non-lockbox payment receipts and process deposits into appropriate bank accounts Process checks using bank scanning equipment
- Reconcile lockbox transactions against monthly bank statements to ensure accuracy
- Consult with staff in other departments and with clients regarding billing and payment processing processes Prioritize daily workload to ensure the department consistently meets service level targets
- Send statements via email as needed
- Contact owners to update account information or inquire about payments Perform other duties as assigned by manager
- Plus other work-related tasks as needed
Salary : $23 - $25
