Job Description:
- We are looking for a Network Engineer to join our intelligence program in support of a key government customer located in Herndon, Virginia.
The Network Engineer shall possess the following capabilities:
- Adept in network engineering, with focus on design, implementation, and management of complex networks.
- Experience with network architecture, design, and implementation in a large-scale environment.
- Proven track record of successfully resolving complex network issues and improving network performance.
- Knowledge of specific network technologies such as routing and switching.
- Knowledge of network automation.
- Knowledge of cloud networking.
- Knowledge of software-defined networking.
- Ability to brief designs to review boards.
- Knowledge of deploying MPLS networks.
- Ability to learn, understand and implement new technologies.
- Ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Qualifications:
- Eleven (11) years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
- In depth knowledge network architecture, design, and implementation.
- Experience with creating technical documentation such as designs, implementation plans, and technical notes.
