Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle database development, performance tuning, and complex query optimization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain robust PL/SQL solutions that meet business needs.
Looking for 8-10 Yrs. of Experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
- Optimize existing SQL queries and PL/SQL code for performance improvements.
- Develop and maintain database objects such as tables, views, indexes, and constraints.
- Work closely with application developers, business analysts, and QA to ensure high-performance and reliable database interactions.
- Participate in database design and data modeling efforts.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Debug and resolve database issues, including performance bottlenecks and data-related errors.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems.
- Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 7 years of hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle RDBMS architecture and SQL performance tuning.
- Proficiency in writing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and packages.
- Familiarity with Oracle tools like SQL*Plus, TOAD, SQL Developer, etc.
- Experience with data analysis, data migration, and batch processing.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Oracle 12c or later versions.
- Knowledge of ETL tools and integration processes.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux shell scripting.
- Exposure to version control tools (e.g., Git, SVN).
- Understanding of REST APIs and JSON/XML data handling.
