This is not a basic cleaning job — this role is an entry point into a skilled trade, where you will develop hands-on experience in pool systems, water chemistry, and equipment diagnostics while working in both residential and commercial environments.
We hold our team to high standards and take pride in delivering clean, safe, and fully operational pools that meet or exceed industry and NJ Board of Health (BOH) standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform full-service pool maintenance including vacuuming, brushing, skimming, and system checks
- Test and balance water chemistry to maintain safe and compliant swimming conditions
- Inspect and assist with maintenance of pumps, filters, heaters, and salt systems
- Identify early signs of equipment failure or leaks and report findings
- Maintain clean and safe pool decks and surrounding areas
- Accurately log service data, readings, and job notes (Jobber system)
- Follow all chemical handling and safety protocols
- Represent the company professionally on client sites
Skills & Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude (ability to understand and work around pool systems)
- Basic knowledge of tools and willingness to learn equipment repair
- Strong attention to detail and accountability
- Ability to work outdoors in all conditions
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Prior pool or service technician experience preferred but not required
