We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to join our dynamic facilities team. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces
- Handle industrial cleaning tasks including deep cleaning of machinery, vents, and high-traffic areas
- Assist with custodial responsibilities related to facilities maintenance, including trash removal and restocking supplies
- Support residential painting projects when needed to enhance property appearance and upkeep
- Operate janitorial equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols
- Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with a strong understanding of commercial and residential cleaning standards
- Skilled in floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing surfaces
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning procedures and facilities maintenance practices
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow instructions precisely and work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy objects, and performing repetitive tasks over extended periods
This is strictly nights, 2 days a weeks, 6-8 hrs maximum per week.
