Medical Device - Project Manager, Systems Verification Team

Location: North San Jose, CA

Duration: Multiyear Project

Overview: This role sits at the intersection of technical execution and program management, with a strong emphasis on verification activities for capital systems with embedded software.

This individual will partner closely with an established Program Manager, taking ownership of the System Verification workstream and helping drive execution as programs move into more advanced phases.

Day to Day:

• Lead and manage the System Verification (SV) workstream for medical device programs, ensuring alignment with overall program goals
• Own and maintain the MS Project plan, including tracking milestones, dependencies, and deliverables
• Coordinate and run scrum teams, ensuring effective agile execution and delivery
• Facilitate regular program syncs (e.g., every 4 weeks) and provide updates on progress, risks, and mitigation strategies
• Partner closely with the Program Manager to ensure seamless integration of SV activities within the broader program
• Take a lead role in SV execution, helping to drive technical and schedule decisions
• Identify resource gaps and help support the continued build-out of the verification team
• Ensure verification activities align with medical device regulatory and quality standards
