Principal Electrical Engineer - Twin Cities Med Tech - Permanent Opportunity up to 165k base 15% bonus

Please see the below requirements for a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead cutting-edge projects in the design and development of electrical and electronic systems for medical devices. This is a principal-level role where you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and serve as a key technical interface with clients.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the design and implementation of complex electronic systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster technical growth.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define requirements and specifications.
• Develop schematics, documentation, and testing protocols.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred).
• 7 years of experience in electrical engineering, ideally in medical devices.
• Experience working at or with design service organizations and proven ability to manage multiple projects/products simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Expertise in analog/digital circuitry and hardware design.
• Familiarity with embedded firmware (C/C ) and design tools (Altium a plus).
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
