JOB TITLE: Sr Engineering Support Specialist
ABOUT THE JOB:
As a Sr. Advanced Engineering Support Specialist, you will be a key contributor to the design and development of cutting-edge Navigation and Sensor solutions for a variety of applications. Your valuable contributions will ensure the delivery of innovative and high-performance electrical designs. This position reports directly to the Electrical Engineering Manager.
In this role, you will be critical in the electrical design process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and reliable Navigation and Sensor products. Your responsibilities will include support to Configuration Management personnel, the preparation and verification of Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), the checking of engineering drawings against redlines to ensure proper implementation, and other engineering support activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and assist with the creation and verification of Engineering Change Notices (ECN).
- Coordinate engineering change notices by engaging various stakeholders (Configuration Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc.)
- Perform Engineering Drawing Checks against redlines and Parts Lists to ensure proper implementation.
- Perform copyediting and proofreading on engineering reports.
- Provide general support to the Sensing, Guidance & Navigation Electrical Engineering team by researching component datasheets, data mining in Teamcenter, etc.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Sciences, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics, or 15 years of experience in lieu of a degree
- 10 years of experience working on engineering teams
- 5 years of experience with Teamcenter
- Ability to speak, read, and write in the English language
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Sciences, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
- Experience preparing and supporting the creation of Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) for Schematic, Parts Lists, Printed Board Assemblies and PCB drawings.
- Technical Documentation proficiency
- Familiarity with Navigation and Sensor technologies
- Knowledge of Configuration Management principles
- Familiarity with Engineering Change processes
- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software platform such as Teamcenter.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills working within Engineering teams (preferably Electrical Design Engineering)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
