Job Summary
We are looking for a dependable and motivated Truck Driver / Warehouse & Inventory Associate to join our team. This position combines local truck driving with warehouse responsibilities, including inventory management, forklift operation, and material handling. The ideal candidate is safety-oriented, organized, and willing to assist with daily warehouse operations when not making deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate company trucks for local pickups and deliveries.
Load, unload, secure, and transport materials safely.
Operate forklifts to move slabs, crates, pallets, and other materials.
Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against purchase orders.
Maintain accurate inventory records and perform inventory counts.
Organize warehouse storage areas and keep materials properly identified.
Prepare orders for shipment and ensure materials are staged correctly.
Inspect trucks and forklifts daily and report maintenance needs.
Follow all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and warehouse procedures.
Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications
Valid driver's license (CDL preferred, depending on job requirements).
Clean driving record.
Previous experience driving commercial trucks.
Forklift experience required.
Experience with warehouse operations and inventory control.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the stone, granite, construction, or building materials industry.
