Position Summary

The Client Service Associate partners with colleagues across the Global Client Group to service Institutional, High Net Worth, and Distributor clients. This role supports the onboarding of new accounts, account maintenance, reporting, and client communications throughout the client lifecycle. Working closely with teams across the enterprise, the associate helps deliver an exceptional client experience while ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in client onboarding and offboarding activities in partnership with Nuveen business teams.
• Support account maintenance tasks (e.g., name changes, fee schedules, benchmarks, client agreements).
• Help ensure ongoing client contractual obligations are met.
• Facilitate cash flow requests, ensuring accurate and timely handling.
• Respond to ad-hoc client inquiries and coordinate proactive updates.
• Maintain client and third-party contact details in the CRM system.
• Prepare materials for client meetings and assist in delivering client communications.
• Identify and escalate issues impacting the client experience, ensuring timely resolution.
• Contribute to department projects focused on risk mitigation, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction.
• Assist with preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and presentations for clients.
• Support completion of due diligence and client questionnaires.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience: No prior work experience required (internships or relevant coursework a plus).
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM system experience a plus.
• Client-focused mindset with ability to anticipate needs and deliver solutions.
