Job Title: Medical BillerPay rate: $21.20/hr on W2Location: Paramus, NJ (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)Hours: 9am–5pmPosition SummaryThe Claims Coordinator (Medical Biller) is responsible for submitting and monitoring medical claims for multiple doctor practices, ensuring timely adjudication, resolving denials, and maximizing reimbursement. This role uses an EHR system and clearinghouse tools to manage claims, payments, and patient billing activity.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, review, and submit medical claims through the EHR system and clearinghouse.Monitor rejected claims, make corrections, and resubmit.Post payments and denials using EOPs from insurance carriers.Investigate claim denials and status using carrier websites or direct contact.Review aging reports and resolve outstanding balances within filing limits.Manage patient billing statements and post payments via the patient portal.Process overpayment refunds to patients or insurance carriers.Serve as the main contact for all medical and vision claim inquiries.Support the corporate manager in optimizing collections.QualificationsHigh school diploma.3 years of medical billing and coding experience.Experience with multiple insurance carriers and claim requirements preferred.Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.Ability to identify issues, prioritize tasks, and solve problems.Company DescriptionIncorporated in 1991, Real Soft Inc.
