Summary
Real Salt Lake is seeking a full-time UX/UI Specialist to support and elevate the digital fan experience across our mobile app, websites, and digital platforms. This role focuses on designing intuitive interfaces, improving user flows, executing website and app updates, and supporting matchday digital operations. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced sports environment where accuracy and timeliness are essential.
This person will work closely with the Marketing, Sponsorship, Web, and App teams to ensure engaging, user-friendly experiences that reflect the RSL and Utah Royals brands.

Responsibilities Include
- Perform UX/UI enhancements across mobile app and web platforms, ensuring usability, accessibility, and visual consistency.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to support new digital features and improvements.
- Conduct or support user testing and leverage feedback to optimize digital experiences.
- Maintain and evolve digital design standards for a cohesive cross-platform brand presence.
- Conduct day-to-day updates and content maintenance for the RSL and Utah Royals mobile apps and websites.
- Coordinate game-day digital workflows, including live content, push notifications, and real-time updates.
- Perform front-end updates using HTML/CSS and ensure all digital content remains accurate and engaging.
- Collaborate with Marketing to update landing pages, promotional modules, and ticketing-related content.
- Contribute to copywriting for web/app content (bilingual English/Spanish is a plus) and brainstorm creative fan-engagement solutions.
- Analyze digital platform performance, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure adherence to UX and mobile-first best practices.
- Other duties as assigned to support the Clubs’ digital needs.
- 1-2 years’ experience in Sports, Web Design, Web Development, Business Administration, Marketing, CMS Management, or related fields.
- 1-2 years’ experience in UX/UI design, Web Design, Digital Media, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and responsive layouts.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or similar.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and responsive design principles.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present and explain ideas.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for Real Salt Lake, Utah Royals, and Real Monarchs home games.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Spanish – English fluency
- Demonstrated ability in copywriting and content creation.
- Experience with design platforms (Figma, Adobe Photoshop)
- Experience working with CMS platforms (Deltatre FORGE, YinzCam, or similar).
- Experience in sports, entertainment, or live-event digital operations.
- Copywriting or digital content creation experience.
- Understanding of soccer culture and fan engagement trends.
