Therapist – Substance Use & Co-occurring PHP | Bradenton, FL (15 min from Sarasota)
Full-time, salaried, W-2 | Tuesday–Saturday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM | Sundays and Mondays off | No on-call | No nights
$60,000 – $76,000 per year based on licensure and experience:
- Registered interns (RMHCI, RCSWI, RMFTI), Masters Level, and MCAP/CAP: $60,000 – $68,000
- Fully licensed (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT): $70,000 – $76,000

What you’ll do
- Complete biopsychosocial assessments and master treatment plans within required timeframes
- Provide individual therapy for clients with substance use and co-occurring disorders
- Facilitate daily PHP groups (psychoeducation and evidence-based curriculum — CBT, DBT skills, relapse prevention, motivational interviewing)
- Coordinate care with medical and psychiatric staff, families, and referral sources
- Document in our EHR (KIPU) accurately and on time — we train you on DCF 65D-30 and Joint Commission requirements, you don’t need to know them walking in
- Attend daily team meetings and weekly clinical supervision
What you bring
- Master’s degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or related field (required)
- Florida registered intern status (RMHCI, RCSWI, RMFTI) or full licensure (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT); MCAP/CAP also welcome
- 1 year of experience in substance use or mental health treatment preferred — practicum and internship hours count
- Comfortable running groups and holding clear boundaries with a diverse adult population
- Able to work in person at our Bradenton site (26th St W, near Cortez Rd — easy drive from Sarasota, Lakewood Ranch, Palmetto, and Parrish)
