As an Office Manager you are responsible for providing Real Property Management (RPM) clients with top-tier customer service and excellence in management services. Real Property Management relies on the Office Manager to demonstrate leadership and create trust with property owners and residents (both current and prospective), as well as contractors and all service providing vendors. The Office Manager instills confidence in our service by taking personal pride and ownership of the properties we manage. You are responsible for leading business development efforts to grow your office and gain new owners and doors.
As an Office Manager you will report directly to the Operations Manager of the organization. As the leader of your office team, you are naturally driven to provide guidance, train, cross-train, develop, coach, council, and ultimately earn the respect and trust of your team. As a leader you are a natural communicator with great sales and negotiation skills, self-driven with the ability to work independently, always representing our brand in a professional demeanor, and always promoting a best-in-class work culture.
Essential Responsibilities
- Direct management, leadership, growth, and development of an RPM Office and its Team
- Actively pursuing continued growth of RPM client base - Business Development - engaging new leads
- Maintaining consistent oversight of all office operations and procedures
- Supervising, mentoring, training, and coaching our office staff
- Producing management level reports, composing correspondence, and creating presentations as needed
- Reviewing and approving supply requisitions from office team or maintenance
- Hands-on management of portfolio of properties utilizing AppFolio.
- Management and oversight of tenancy applications and agreements
- Maintains regular and close contact with current and potential clients
- Oversight of maintenance projects and efficiency for managed properties
- Manages portfolio correspondence for the office
- Performs reviews and authorizes payment of client invoices
- Audits monthly and yearly rental statements, performs rent reviews
- Enters into new management agreements with new Clients
- Actively engages team in daily office meetings and provides frequent training sessions
- Adheres to all corporate procedures and actively implements corporate initiatives and directives
- Provides feedback and participates in continuous improvement of procedures and processes
- Excels at task and project management for a team of employees

- Willing to travel to corporate meetings, training sessions, or other offices as needed by the company
Education/Experience
- Real Estate License required
- Single-Family Property Management experience required
- You must have prior experience in a customer-facing role.
- Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office applications
- Familiar with using AppFolio property management software
This is a full-time, non-exempt (Monday – Friday) position at our Layton, UT office. We offer a competitive compensation and benefit package (medical, dental, vision).
